Growth Manager / Sales Lead - Research Cultural Heritage Explorer, History, Temporary until 31 December 2026
Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Growth Manager / Sales Lead - Research Cultural Heritage Explorer within History
Cultural Heritage Explorer is an AI-enabled discovery platform currently focused on early printed books, prints and related visual/textual cultural heritage materials, with the potential to expand into wider cultural heritage collections and markets. The Growth Manager / Sales Lead will support the project's commercial validation, partner engagement and market development activity.
Reporting to Professor Sandy Wilkinson, the postholder will help build awareness among research, higher education, library and cultural heritage organisations, while exploring commercial viability in adjacent sectors including the creative industries, AI training/evaluation datasets, EdTech, publishing and AR/VR tourism. The role will support trial-partner engagement, identify and qualify sales leads and additional trial partners, maintain a contact pipeline/CRM, prepare outreach and demo materials, and gather feedback on adoption, procurement and licensing issues. A final handover report will summarise outreach, partner feedback, market opportunities, risks and recommended next steps.
Salary: 47,600 to 49,690 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
