Responsibilities
- Carry out compliance audits, inspections, tests, ensuring the daa's NCASP mandated quality control programme is delivered in accordance with both European Union and IAA nationally approved standards and procedures.
- Deliver high quality reporting outputs ensuring the daa's NCASP mandated quality control programme is delivered in accordance with both European Union and IAA nationally approved standards and procedures.
- Identify security risks in this key aviation security area which daa may be exposed to.
- Ability to challenge poor performance and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and maintain close and productive working relationships with the relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct general compliance officer tasks by conducting inspections, observations, audits and surveys in accordance with the relevant SOP, across both Dublin and Cork Airports
- Produce high quality reports, in line with Group Security's reporting requirements, pertaining to compliance with security requirements.
- Inspectors are trained in all areas of the Quality Control Programme. Once the inspector is capable and confident in all activities, they will specialize in one specific area whilst simultaneously acting as resilience for another specialised areas. Specialist functions within the team are applicable at both airports and 3rd parties when required.
Qualifications
Experience
- 12 months Aviation Security implementation experience is desirable
- Previous experience in auditing practices is desirable
Skills
Essential:
- Ability to work without supervision and on own initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Hold an ICAO National Inspector qualification within 1 year of into entering the role
- Hold an ISO Lead Auditor qualification within 1 year of into entering the role
- Demonstrate by way of online assessment testing an excellent competence in English comprehension.
- Demonstrate an ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and administrative personnel
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse, fast paced team environment
Desirable:
- Operational knowledge of Aviation Security requirements
- Operational experience in Airport Security
Education & Qualifications
- Hold a Third level qualification
- Risk assessment training within 1 year of entering the role
- Specialist training as required
- Valid/ Clean Irish Driving Licence
