As a Technology Support I in the Commercial and Investment Bank, you will help ensure our application portfolio meets firm Risk & Control and Technology Governance requirements while supporting reliable day-to-day operation. You will partner with application owners and business stakeholders across a mix of internally built and vendor-developed solutions, helping drive remediation, maintain audit-ready documentation, and support a seamless user experience. Your contributions will help standardize processes and uplift documentation, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technology support for a range of applications, including internally built and vendor-developed, internally and externally hosted.
- Liaise with application stakeholders on the business side where necessary.
- Monitor, analyze, and triage findings, issues, or tasks raised against our portfolio.
- Manage activities according to expected SLAs.
- Align User Access Management for external vendor applications to firmwide standards.
- Enhance processes for recording User Access Entitlements in recertification systems.
- Lead projects to standardize and uplift documentation for the application portfolio.
- Improve knowledge transfer within the team.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Demonstrate expertise in Technology Risk & Controls and/or Governance roles.
- Apply a strong analytical mindset to prioritize effectively in a high-volume environment.
- Utilize solid organizational and project management fundamentals, including planning, tracking, and dependency management.
- Use lifecycle/work management tools (such as Jira and Confluence) to document processes clearly and consistently.
- Communicate professionally with technology and business stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Structure information into common, concise formats.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bring experience in financial services or another regulated environment.
- Show familiarity with production support concepts, including incident, problem, and change management.
- Demonstrate interest in improving operational efficiency through standardization and workflow improvements.
- Possess coding skills (beneficial but not required).
