JOB SYNOPSIS

The University of Limerick is seeking to appoint a Deputy Director of Finance (DDOF). This role is a senior role reporting to the Director of Finance (DOF). This is a new role created from restructuring of existing vacancies. An initial key function will be to develop and implement a fit for purpose finance organisation structure in partnership with the Director of Financial Planning Performance and Engagement (DFPPE) role. It is expected that the DDOF will lead on payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, procurement, fees office, reporting, annual audit, research finance office, treasury, taxation, financial systems and all governance and compliance reporting, while the DFPPE will lead on financial planning, financial appraisal of capital and investment projects, performance, engagement, funding, analysis and insight.

Salary Scale: €147,198 - €186,093 p.a.
