About the Team & Business Line:

Responsible for end-to-end management of Custody services, ensuring exceptional client service, operational excellence and effective oversight of custody activities. The role acts as the primary point of contact for clients, managing service delivery, coordinating operational teams, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will possess deep knowledge of custody operations, fund servicing, and investment lifecycle processes combined with proven people management and client relationship skills.

About You:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years in Financial Services or Fund Accounting at least 2 years at Supervisory level.
  • Degree in Accounting/ Finance or in a related discipline.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel etc.).
  • Proven ability to work in a challenging, professional and deadline driven work environment.
  • Experience in Fund of Fund structures, preferably with exposure to private equity and hedge fund investments.
  • Strong understanding of the transaction and investment cycle of private equity funds.

Your Role:

  • Responsible for the quality of the Custody service delivery to assigned clients.
  • Review, approve and assist with preparation of daily, weekly and month-end activity.
  • Manage your team's service standards and specified deadlines within a dynamic work environment.
  • Part of supporting the management and evolution of the Citco Custody Limited operating model that fulfils client expectations whilst achieving efficiency and control objectives.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects custody services including the oversight and governance of our support Shared Services Offices (CoE's).
  • Responsible for ensuring that new products, client or Group initiatives are supported and implemented in an efficient, controlled and scalable manner.
  • Participate proactively in the Custody relationship management with clients, ensuring Service Level Agreement standards met and exceeded.
  • Review monthly KPI and SLA reporting to ensure to ensure client service expectations are being fulfilled, as well as review control statistics and performance levels to ensure proactively risk is managed and in line with company risk based approach.
  • Maintain a process of continual review of the processes within team to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve controls and processes with a view to advance automation.
  • Ensure high standard of training and competence of team members while ensuring that succession plans are in place with strong career development focus for all those within the team.

  • Manage a team of Fund Accountants by providing ongoing training and support to ensure team / individual goals / objectives are met.
  • Participate in strategic departmental and corporate initiatives.
