Quality Assurance Technician - Part Time
Our client, a well-established food manufacturing company based in the Blessington area, is seeking a Part-Time Quality Assurance Technician to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in a food production or food manufacturing environment who has strong knowledge of quality systems, food safety standards and BRC requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out quality checks across production and finished products
Ensure all products meet required quality, safety and hygiene standards
Support the maintenance of food safety and quality management systems
Complete quality documentation accurately and in line with company procedures
Assist with internal audits, traceability checks and BRC compliance requirements
Work closely with production teams to ensure standards are maintained
Report any non-conformances and support corrective actions
Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety and site procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role within the food industry
Knowledge of BRC standards is essential
Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety and hygiene requirements
Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills
Ability to work well with production and management teams
Good communication and organisational skills
Flexible and reliable approach to work
This role is part-time, working 3 days per week, and would suit someone looking for a stable QA position within a busy food manufacturing environment.
