Job Title: Security Account Manager (Healthcare)

Hourly rate: €21.65

Contract: Permanent | Onsite

Role Summary
The Security Account Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of security services within a busy healthcare environment, ensuring a safe and secure setting for patients, staff, and visitors. The role focuses on contract performance, client relationship management, team leadership, compliance, and continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities of the Security Account Manager:

  • Manage day-to-day security operations, ensuring delivery against KPIs, SLAs, and client expectations.
  • Act as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and resolving issues effectively.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate the security team, ensuring appropriate staffing, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with PSA requirements, healthcare regulations, health & safety standards, and site policies.
  • Oversee incident management, investigations, risk mitigation, and emergency response planning.
  • Monitor service performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage payroll, scheduling, annual leave, compliance records, equipment, and operational resources.
  • Deliver the contract within budget while maintaining high service standards.


Key Requirements of the Security Account Manager:

  • Proven management experience within security, healthcare, or a similar service-led environment.
  • Strong leadership, client relationship, and people management skills.
  • Experience managing operational performance, compliance, and service delivery.
  • Knowledge of PSA licensing and security industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and workforce management systems.
  • Healthcare security experience and knowledge of IPC, safeguarding, and conflict management are desirable.
  • Full clean driving licence.
