As a Senior Director, Finance Business Partnering at ICON, you will be responsible for driving business performance through effective financial partnership.

What You Will Do:

You will direct finance and financial management activities, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing financial strategies and business plans in collaboration with senior leadership to drive business growth and performance.
  • Acting as a key financial advisor to various business units, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and enhance financial outcomes.
  • Leading financial planning, analysis, and forecasting activities to ensure alignment with business objectives and to drive effective resource allocation.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure financial strategies are effectively communicated and executed.
  • Overseeing financial performance tracking and reporting, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, while promoting best practices in financial management and business partnering.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging practices to continuously improve financial strategies and business partnering approaches.


Your Profile:

You will bring significant finance and financial management experience, with a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering results.

Required qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
  • Extensive experience in financial business partnering, with a proven track record of influencing business decisions and driving performance improvements.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with senior management.
  • A strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
