Your Key Responsibilities

The Ideal Candidate
- Knowledge of auditing, quality standards, and quality management techniques such as HACCP and Process Control is desirable, along with awareness of food legislation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work using your own initiative
- Able to build and maintain strong working relationships across quality, other departments, customers, and suppliers
- Competent in MS Office, including Word and Excel
- A qualification in a scientific food discipline is desirable

Your Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating lab samples, scheduling, sampling, and monitoring/reviewing results, including sign off and resampling of out of spec results
- Leading the weekly micro review and action tracker
- Creating and receiving purchase orders on SAP
- Administering Safefood 350, including monitoring and record creation
- Providing QC support during absence and holidays, including record reviews and visual checks
- Managing supplier approvals, including spec requests, certificates, and annual SAQ sign off
- Completing weekly dashboards and monthly reports
- Tracking calibrations, including scheduling and certification upkeep
- Reviewing and tracking hygiene and high cleaning standards
- Managing cleaning validations when due
- Reviewing pest control recommendations and closing out actions
- Preparing, scheduling, and reviewing monthly sensory WIBIT checks
- Managing complaints when required
- Reviewing risk assessments, SOPs, and other controlled documents
- Supporting audits, including pre-audit document compilation, traceability exercises, and presenting micro aspects to auditors
