Post Summary

To support the delivery of a professional and effective Internal Audit service for the University by planning, managing and performing a range of audit reviews across all areas and activities of the University, and associated administrative duties. To engage in and drive a risk-based auditing approach across a diverse range of activities with a strong focus on operational and strategic issues in a challenging and complex environment. To contribute to the continuous improvement of both the Internal Audit function and the University as a whole.

Post status: Specific Purpose Contract

The specific purpose of this employment is to fill a vacancy on a temporary basis pending the return of the postholder from a career break. Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis as the original postholder is expected to return. If the postholder does not return to work the post will be filled through open competition.

Hours of Post: 35 hours per week

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-3), Salary Scale (€70,942 - €91,774 per annum at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
