Post Summary:- The Head of Legal for Research and Innovation is a senior leadership role in the Trinity Research and Innovation division responsible for leading and delivering on all types of research and commercial agreements in the division, and providing strategic and operational leadership to the Contracts team in TR&I. Reporting to the Director of Innovation, and a key member of the Innovation Leadership Team, the Head of Legal for Research and Innovation will be the primary legal representative for research and commercial-related agreements across the College, and will be accountable and responsible for ensuring Trinity College Dublin's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations; managing legal risks and enabling research, supporting commercialisation and innovation. The Head of Legal for Research and Innovation will manage a team of legal professionals within the Contracts Office and will be the primary legal representative for the Research and Innovation division.

Post status: Permanent Contract

Hours of Post: 35 hours per week

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Senior Administrative 2 Salary Scale ( €111,114 - €148,547 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
