What is the role?
The primary responsibility of this role is to leverage AI and machine learning technologies to analyze complex data sets, develop predictive insights, and provide strategic recommendations to drive business decisions. The role involves leading a team in the development and implementation of Aerogen's AI-powered data infrastructure, utilizing large language models (LLMs), machine learning frameworks, and advanced data manipulation tools to manage internally and externally generated data, driving AI innovation across the business.

What are the key responsibilities?
• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models to extract actionable insights from large, complex datasets.
• Build and maintain AI-powered dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools integrated with LLMs and generative AI.
• Develop and operationalize predictive models, natural language processing (NLP) pipelines, and automated anomaly detection systems.
• Evaluate, fine-tune, and integrate large language models (e.g., GPT, Claude) into business intelligence workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI-driven opportunities for improving KPIs and business performance.
• Automate data collection, cleaning, and transformation processes using AI-powered ETL pipelines.
• Provide actionable AI-backed recommendations to improve business processes, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and generative AI to continuously evolve the organization's data capabilities.

What education and experience are required?
• Bachelor's/Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2 years specifically focused on AI/ML development and deployment.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering and AI model fine-tuning.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms such as Azure ML
• Experience of leading a team

• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to present complex AI insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of business needs and ability to align AI strategies with organisational goals.
• Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams to drive AI and data initiatives.
• Innovation: Continuously exploring emerging AI tools, techniques, and frameworks to improve business processes.
