Based: Dublin Campus Clondalkin.
Work Times: 08:00-17:00
Scope of role
The Operations Supervisor is a client-facing role and assists the Operations Manager with the management of the shift team on site The Shift team, operate 24/7/365 to monitor and respond to all critical facility infrastructure events across the Dublin Campus. The Operations Supervisor will assist with operational performance, facility monitoring, and escalation requirements associated with the Campus Data Centres which fall under the shift teams.
The Operations Supervisor will manage aspects of building facilities. Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising facilities staff. The Operations Supervisor will work alongside other site departments such as Planning, Systems, Technical and Contract Support.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, mentor and manage the Critical Environment Shift teams on Dublin Campus in conjunction with Operations Manager.
- Drive consistency in how shift activities are operated and delivered across the Campus. Ensure shift team members are aligned with site processes and procedures and meet all operational requirements.
- Assist the Operations Manager with the development and management of emergency operational procedures and drills associated with shift team response across the Campus.
- Contribute to the preparation of the shift team data required for all reports and meetings for the Campus, these include Monthly CBRE Contract reviews, client daily, weekly, MBR's, QBR's and any other reports as required.
- Audit the Shift team's efficiency and performance across the Campus. Develop efficiencies and innovations that benefit overall operation & response of the shift teams.
- Manage and develop a professional relationship with client representatives across the Campus to create a positive customer experience.
- To deliver a performance level which achieves and beats the KPI's and SLA's set down in the FMA and be able to demonstrate compliance of same.
- Ensure Data Centre operations, business policies and processes are effectively communicated, implemented and adhered to at all times by all CBRE Shift staff across the Campus.
- Ensure both the clients and CBRE's, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment policies and processes are effectively implemented across all CBRE shift activities.
- Ensure appropriate control systems are in place to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.
- Promote and maintain the core Values of CBRE.
- Manage other tasks as directed by your senior management team.
- Adaptable to and lead change personally and organizational in line with dynamics of a growth industry
Minimum Qualification / Experience
- 3+ years' experience in critical facilities operations or Data Centre preferred.
- Proven ability to bring individuals & subgroups to one team acting with a consistent approach across 24/7.
- Experience of managing Data Centre Technicians (who themselves have people management responsibilities).
- Experience of 24/7 Operational Management
- Detailed understanding and experience of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a Data Centre environment.
- Prior operations management experience including team management and work scheduling.
- Strong understanding of CMMS Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and tools.
- Experience of managing escalation and emergency issues.

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with the client, employees and subcontractors.
- Numerate and computer literate. Intermediate to advanced software skills - MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Visio and Microsoft Project.
