Role responsibilities

Install, service, maintain, and repair gas boilers, heating systems, and gas appliances.
Carry out plumbing installations and repairs, including pipework, bathrooms, radiators, and hot water systems.
Diagnose faults and troubleshoot gas, heating, and plumbing issues.
Perform gas safety inspections, testing, and certification.
Complete preventative maintenance and emergency repair work.
Ensure all work complies with RGI regulations, Irish Standards, and health & safety requirements.
Maintain accurate service records, reports, and certification documentation.
Provide excellent customer service and explain repairs or maintenance requirements to clients.
Participate in on-call or emergency call-out rotas when required.
Ensure work requests are carried out on time and to a satisfactory level.
Coordinate subcontractors when required.

Qualifications:

Role Requirements

Experience in gas boiler servicing, installations, and repairs
Strong knowledge of Irish gas safety regulations and plumbing standards.
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experienced in general plumbing maintenance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, and determining angles
Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
Experience with welding is a plus
Valid driver's license
Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills
Ability to work on own initiative and as well as part of a team.
Ability to manage and prioritize workload
Excellent communication skills and Fluent English
