Summary: The Associate Director is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely delivery of high-quality corporate services to clients. The role includes assisting with team management, implementing internal procedures and controls, and supporting the consistent delivery of a professional and robust service offering. The Associate Director will work closely with other departments, including Risk, Compliance and Legal, to ensure client, regulatory and operational objectives are met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the planning and organising of the team to ensure client engagement requirements are met.
- Draft and implement procedures to meet professional standards.
- Work with team leaders to ensure that:
- Detailed reviews of client management accounts are undertaken before issue.
- Teams deliver timely and accurate monthly/quarterly management and statutory financial information.
- Financial information is provided to clients and customers in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
- Corporation tax, VAT and other filing obligations are completed within strict deadlines.
- Regulatory reports are prepared and filed accurately and on time.
- Implement improvements to accounting and corporate services processes to ensure they are robust, controlled and efficient.
- Continuously review and develop processes to reduce reporting lead times and improve service quality.
- Work with colleagues across the Waystone Group to support effective collaboration, communication and the development of practical
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with ad-hoc matters and project requirements as requested by the Board of Directors.
- Coach, mentor and empower members of the Corporate Services team.
- Identify opportunities for business growth.
- Act as a director of client companies as required, ensuring appropriate governance, fiduciary oversight, conflicts management and compliance awareness.
REQUIREMENTS

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and other relevant business systems.
- Strong technical accounting skills, including tax and financial reporting.
- Previous experience using an accounting package such as Sage would be desirable.
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to learn quickly, work efficiently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written communication and numeracy skills, with the ability to prepare accurate figure work and professional client correspondence.
- Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Strong customer focus, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborative and self-motivated, with the ability to use initiative, work independently when required and produce high-quality output.
Education:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- University degree in accounting, business or a related discipline preferred.
Experience:
- 7+ years' experience in a similar finance, accounting or corporate services role.
- Experience in the financial services industry would be beneficial.
