Role Purpose
The Transformation Business Analyst supports the successful delivery of Cornmarket's multi-year transformation programme by translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements and helping to ensure solutions are aligned with customer, operational, and strategic goals.
This role plays an important part in supporting process improvements, shaping technology solutions, coordinating business engagement, and ensuring readiness for change. Bringing curiosity, analytical thinking, and a collaborative approach, the Transformation Business Analyst works closely with colleagues across business, technology, and delivery teams to create positive outcomes for customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities
Requirements Solution Definition
Facilitate the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business requirements, ensuring clarity, traceability, and alignment with transformation objectives.
Develop and maintain functional and non-functional requirements that accurately reflect business needs and desired outcomes.
Apply curiosity and analytical thinking to explore business challenges, understand underlying needs, and identify practical solutions that enhance both customer and employee experiences.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to define future-state processes, data requirements, and user journeys.
Support the evaluation of solution options and contribute recommendations that balance business, customer, and operational needs.
Testing Quality Assurance
Coordinate the creation and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies, test plans, and test scripts to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Support UAT activities, including tester preparation, defect management, business sign-off, and requirements traceability.
Work closely with project and technology teams to identify risks, issues, and gaps early and support their resolution.
Help ensure the quality and effectiveness of solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Deployment Business Readiness
Support deployment planning activities, including business readiness assessments, communications, and implementation planning.
Help ensure teams understand upcoming changes and that business processes, procedures, and controls are updated appropriately.
Partner with Change and Organisation Design teams to support training, adoption, and embedding of new ways of working.
Contribute to activities that help ensure a smooth transition from project delivery into business operations.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build effective partnerships between transformation teams and business areas, ensuring clear communication and shared understanding.
Facilitate workshops, requirement reviews, process discussions, and solution playback sessions.
Build trusted relationships across the organisation through collaboration, expertise, reliability, and a commitment to delivering value.
Support effective decision-making by presenting insights, requirements, and recommendations clearly and confidently.
Continuous Improvement Transformation Support
Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve customer and colleague experiences, and enhance operational efficiency.
Contribute to the development of transformation design principles, business rules, and ways of working.
Support business case development, impact assessments, options analysis, and other transformation-related activities as required.
Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across teams.

Skills, Experience Qualifications
Experience in Business Analysis, Transformation, Change Management, or a related discipline.
Experience working within financial services or another regulated environment would be advantageous.
Demonstrated experience supporting business change, process improvement, transformation initiatives, or technology-enabled projects.
Ability to gather, analyse, and document business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
Knowledge of CRM platforms, workflow tools, automation technologies, or enterprise systems (Salesforce experience would be an advantage).
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Ability to contribute insights and recommendations that support business decision-making.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and digital transformation practices.
Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
