Job Overview:

The Flooring Sales Advisor is responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store experience for every customer resulting in increased Flooring sales and customer loyalty.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Build a relationship of trust by asking the right questions to understand the customer's Flooring needs and listening carefully to their answers.
  • Suggests products that will complement the customer's home and other furnishings.
  • Discuss types and quality of products to ensure customer education and satisfaction
  • Find solutions for our customer's needs using hard-work, creativity, and a multitude of product options.
  • Coordinate field measurements of typical house/apartment floors plans calculate square meter/yardage requirements for clients and prepare and provide per unit proposals as needed.
  • Accurately complete all of the required documentation during the sales transaction
  • Close the sale and ensure that the customer is happy with their carpet purchase.
  • Invite the customer to come back and keep in touch
  • At all times, be honest and demonstrate integrity in the sales process.


Qualifications:

  • 2/3 years of experience in flooring retail sales in a commission-driven environment.
  • The ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedule which includes weekdays, and weekends and bank holidays is required.
  • Excellent spatial awareness and excellent understanding of dimensions both metric and imperial.
  • The desire to succeed in a sales-driven environment is key.
