VP Technical | Aircraft Leasing | Dublin
An established global aircraft leasing company is seeking a Vice President – Technical to join its Dublin-based Technical team. This is a senior opportunity for an experienced aviation professional to oversee the technical and asset management of a diverse portfolio of leased and financed aircraft worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage aircraft delivery, transition, and redelivery projects (new and used aircraft)
Support aircraft acquisitions, disposals, and technical due diligence for transactions
Oversee lessee maintenance obligations, mid-lease audits, and maintenance reserve management
Prepare and review technical terms within lease documentation and transaction agreements
Collaborate closely with internal legal, finance, and marketing teams on aircraft transactions
Liaise with OEMs, MROs, and aviation authorities to ensure compliance and maintain technical standards
Represent the company at industry meetings and conferences
Ideal Background:
Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Proven experience in aircraft or engine leasing, technical asset management, or airline engineering
Strong project management, negotiation, and analytical skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
Confident working in a dynamic, international environment
Willingness to travel as required
