A residential construction project manager oversees housing and apartment developments from pre construction to client handover. They are responsible for driving projects on time and within budget while strictly adhering to quality standards and safety regulations.

Core Responsibilities

• Project Delivery & Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and track detailed construction programmes to ensure milestones are successfully hit.
• Budget & Cost Control: Work alongside Quantity Surveyors to monitor cost controls, identify project variations, and manage the procurement of subcontractors.
• Site Management: Lead multidisciplinary teams, site managers, and subcontractors on-site to maintain efficient workflow.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all works comply with local building regulations (e.g., BCAR in Ireland), technical drawings, and specifications.
• Health & Safety: Drive safety leadership by implementing procedures, conducting regular site inspections, and enforcing EHS protocols.
• Stakeholder Relations: Chair site meetings and report project progress, costs, and risks to senior management and clients.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: A Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
