Purpose of the role
The purpose of this post is to support the Quality and Patient Safety team, General Manager and Director of Quality and Patient Safety with all relevant activities in the delivery of QPS operations within Children's Health Ireland. This will include day to day service delivery within the QPS directorate, as well as involvement in special projects related to internal and external reviews and enquiries, and integration with the HSE. The QPS Administrator will provide administrative support for committees, meetings and QPS programmes, as well as ensuring effective communications within and outside the QPS team.

Essential Criteria
- Achieved Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification comparable to another jurisdiction Or hold a comparable and relevant third level qualification of at least QQI Level 5 on the National Framework.
- Evidence of excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good planning and organization skills - including time management, ability to prioritise and manage own workload, and ability to meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team, maintaining good working relationships with other team members
- Excellent ICT skills, including use of MS Office suite, MS Teams, Outlook
