This role plays an important part in driving strategic people initiatives and supporting the organisations continued growth. Duties
• Deliver end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring a high-quality, consistent employee experience for current and prospective employees.
• Partner with managers as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on people matters, including employee relations, performance management, and application of HR policies, ensuring fair and consistent decision-making aligned with Irish employment law.
• Lead and manage key people processes, including probation, performance reviews, and employee relations casework, ensuring adherence to best practice and legislative requirements.
• Own payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accurate and timely monthly processing, while continuously identifying opportunities to automate and optimise processes through technology and system enhancements.
• Drive a seamless onboarding experience, managing induction programmes and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure a structured and positive new hire journey.
• Support the design and delivery of learning and development initiatives, aligned to business and talent priorities, to enhance capability and performance across the organisation.
• Maintain and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and contractual documentation, ensuring alignment with evolving employment legislation and organisational best practice.
• Manage and optimise HR systems (HRIS and related platforms) to ensure data integrity, compliance, and effective reporting, leveraging analytics to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement
• Contribute to HR projects and strategic initiatives, supporting continuous improvement and the evolution of HR practices within Mediolanum.
• Lead the wellbeing and engagement agenda, partnering with external providers and delivering initiatives that support employee wellbeing and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and HR best practice
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of HR practices
• Proficiency in HR systems, specifically new technologies adoption, including AI
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or a related field.
• CIPD qualification is highly desirable.
• 6-8 years' experience in a HR role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience with process improvement and HR automation tools.
