Tax Pensions role overview:

Our pensions practice advises many of the largest organisations in Ireland. We have built up a strong reputation for leading edge, corporate focused advice and have grown the business significantly over the last 5 years. We are now the largest independent pension consultancy operating in the Irish pensions' marketplace. A focus on governance and our independence assists us greatly in viewing pension issues in the wider business context, and we have developed IP around proactive liability management and pension change projects. We are also able to draw on the breadth of PwC technical and expert resource meaning we are able to find unique solutions encompassing broader wealth, taxation and other areas.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Provide actuarial support on a range of corporate and trustee clients


  • Support our financial wellness offering


  • Utilise data analytics software to assist our clients in interpreting their data to gain meaningful insights in relation to their benefits strategy


  • Defined Contribution Pensions and Savings consulting


  • Provide technical support to our personal wealth and retirement planning services


  • Work with our transactions team on M&A projects


  • Accounting technical support in relation to year-end audit


Who are we looking for?

  • Strong Academic Background: You hold (or are on track to achieve) at least a 2.1 degree (or equivalent), equipped with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Highly analytical, technical and numerate: comfortable with complex financial calculations and modelling.


  • Ability to translate complex actuarial concepts into plain English for non specialist audience groups.


  • Growth-Oriented: You are ready to refine your talents through feedback, coaching, and continuous learning opportunities.


  • Collaborative and Proactive: You excel in teamwork, communicate effectively, and take initiative when it counts. Strong communicator with solid all-round commercial awareness.


  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable with rigorous review and quality assurance
