Essential Requirements
- EU or UK citizenship or existing right to work in Ireland (mandatory)
- Valid HGV Driver Licence (Code C or CE)
- Minimum 3 years of rigid truck driving experience
- Valid CPC certification and clean driving record
- Intermediate to fluent English (B1/B2 or higher) required for interviews and workplace communication

Job Overview
You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across Ireland, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company policies. The role requires strong route awareness, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to vehicle care and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks including tyres, brakes, lights, and fluid levels
- Drive rigid trucks to and from delivery sites across Ireland
- Agree routes and delivery schedules with transport management
- Assist with loading and unloading, ensuring loads are safe and balanced
- Follow all road safety regulations and company driving policies
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, working hours, and journey logs
- Report mechanical faults and carry out basic checks when required
- Be available for overtime and emergency call outs when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Code C or CE HGV Licence
- Minimum 3 years proven experience driving rigid trucks
- Driver CPC certification
- Strong understanding of Irish road regulations and safe loading practices
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively within a team
