We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Electrician to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation in Facilities.

What you'll do
  • Diagnose electrical faults and repair assets within technical capability
  • Undertake routine maintenance and ensure that systems are maintained to the appropriate standard as defined by relevant regulation and best practice
  • Carry out like for like asset replacement and minor new works as directed.
  • Build professional relationships with all stakeholders (client and own team)
  • Support and mentor trade apprentices
  • Makes decisions within parameters set by line Manager using job/specialist experience
  • Awareness of cost/benefit applicable to the tasks performed
  • Awareness of sustainability and the impact your actions make on it

What you'll bring
  • Engineering in Electrical related discipline
  • Engineering experience and knowledge of a manufacturing plant, preferably pharmaceutical / chemical / industrial
  • Experience of using a works order planning database, e.g., Fiix
  • Ability to work without supervision as well as part of a team
  • Willingness and aptitude to be trained in any skills gap & positive approach to learning in role
  • Good awareness and understanding of health, safety and environmental
  • Good computer literacy and operation of Microsoft Word, Excel and databases
  • Good administration skills
  • Self-motivated and flexible approach to role
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • HNC or equivalent in Engineering in Electrical related discipline
  • Have excellent technical awareness and good overview of M&E building services
  • Knowledge and experience developing and writing M&E scopes of work and service level agreements (SLA's)
  • Experience within managing / coordinating service contractors and contracts
