Principal Duties and Responsibilities
We're looking for a creative, organised and results-oriented Golf Marketing Executive to join our growing team.
Working directly with the Golf Marketing Manager, you'll support the delivery of marketing plans, campaigns
and content across golf clubs and golf entertainment venues owned or operated by Carr Golf Services. The role
is hands-on and delivery-focused, helping turn marketing strategy into well-executed activity that drives
awareness, engagement, revenue growth and customer retention.

Reporting & Team
• Reports to the Golf Marketing Manager

Key responsibilities
Campaign Delivery, Customer Acquisition & Revenue Growth
• Support the planning, set-up, execution and evaluation of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate agreed campaign actions, ensuring activity is delivered on time, and in line with the brief.
• Support event marketing, including promotional materials, email, web updates and on-site collateral.
• Assist with marketing activity designed to drive enquiries, bookings, and revenue growth.

CRM, Retention & Customer Lifecycle
• Support CRM campaign set-up, list preparation, data checks and audience segmentation.
• Maintain good data hygiene within CRM systems and escalate any data quality issues.
• Execute test-and-learn activity across email, content and customer journeys to improve engagement.
• Prepare draft campaign copy for review, ensuring tone, accuracy and brand consistency.

Digital Performance, Website & Content
• Maintain golf venue websites, ensuring content is accurate, up to date and SEO/AEO-friendly.
• Coordinate digital content requirements with the Social Media team and external design agencies.
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare concise KPI updates
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support campaign planning and execution.

Brand Marketing
• Help ensure marketing materials follow venue-specific brand standards and messaging.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather information, check details and support timely delivery.
• Coordinate with external agencies, printers and suppliers as required.
• Adhere to strict confidentiality standards when handling commercial and customer information.

Essential Experience
• At least 1-year's-experience in a marketing role, either agency-side or in-house.
• Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Experience using marketing tools such as Canva, HubSpot, Google Analytics, CMS platforms or similar.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and AEO, content marketing and digital campaign best practice.
• Ability to interpret campaign results and summarise performance clearly.

Desirable Experience
• Knowledge of golf and a passion for sport.
• Experience working with golf clubs, sports organisations, leisure venues or multi-site businesses.
• Experience using CMS platforms, such as WordPress.
• Experience supporting campaigns that drive enquiries, bookings, attendance or customer engagement.

Academic/Other Requirements
• Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to travel between managed sites as required.
