We are recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the team located in Spencer Dock, Dublin, partnering with our fortune 500 healthcare client. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems, providing a support service to the site with an amazing on-site team.

What You'll Do:
- Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance including repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Assure that equipment is being maintained and operating in a safe manner.
- Review assigned work orders and track to completion.
- Conduct quarterly emergency light testing.
- Electrical distribution checks, RCBO testing.
- Periodic Fire & glass door inspections & yearly cleaning of TMVs (Training will be provided).
- Some work is carried out during the weekend, with an expected 4 to 6 weekends a year.
- Take ownership of Planned Maintenance calendar & follow up with vendors to ensure remedial action is completed.
- Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
- Required to attend smaller client office located in Santry, Dublin on an ad-hoc basis.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and associated mechanical building services systems (motors, controls, switches, etc., ensuring continuous and safe operation across the site.
- Take ownership of critical systems performance, including fault response, escalation, and resolution to minimise operational risk and downtime.
- Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with relevant health & safety regulations, safe systems of work, and site procedures.
- Manage / take ownership of contractors and vendors, supporting supervision, permit control, and completion of works.
What You'll Need:
- Trade qualification - Electrician
- 3-4 years of job-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred
- Valid Driver's license required.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including bending, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Understanding existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
- Understanding of the workings / maintenance of HVAC & BMS systems would be a bonus.
- Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Ability to self-perform.
