Clancy Construction is currently seeking experienced General Operatives to join our site teams in the South Dublin area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a live construction site, supporting day-to-day operations and contributing to the successful delivery of projects in line with Clancy's high standards of quality, safety and professionalism.
Location
This is a Site based role in the South Dublin area.
Reporting to
The Site Manager.
As a General Operative, you will play an important role in maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient site environment while representing Clancy Construction in a professional manner at all times.
Key Responsibilities will include :
Carrying out general site duties as directed by the Site Manager
Undertaking a variety of construction-related tasks including (but not limited to):
Working in accordance with the Clancy Integrated Management System
(ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO50001)
Actively engaging with site safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture
Identifying potential safety issues and work collaboratively with the site team to resolve them. Representing Clancy Construction professionally and upholding the Company's Core Values at all times.

- Site cleaning and housekeeping
- Site welfare set-up, upkeep and maintenance
- Unloading and handling materials
- Fuelling plant and equipment around the worksite
- Fulfilling the role of Gateman (when required)
- Performing other tasks as directed by the Site Manager
Working in accordance with the Clancy Integrated Management System
(ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO50001)
Actively engaging with site safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture

Requirements
Experience
- Previous construction experience in Ireland.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of site safety requirements
Qualifications

Skills & Abilities
- Ability to use hand-held and mechanically aided tools
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Physical ability to carry out site-based tasks
