Location: Clondalkin, Co. Dublin (Office, Workshop & Site-Based)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Client
Our client specialises in delivering bespoke lifting and handling solutions, including fabrication, installation, and full project delivery across industrial and commercial sectors.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Projects & Delivery Coordinator to support the delivery of projects from concept through to completion.


The Role
This is a hands-on coordination role focused on managing bespoke lifting and fabrication projects from approved concept through to fabrication, installation, and handover.

You will work closely with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and engineering partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.

This position suits someone from a practical or technical background who is progressing into project coordination or leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate external engineering and design providers
  • Review and interpret technical drawings from a practical and buildability perspective
  • Manage technical queries between suppliers, fabricators, installers, and engineers
  • Identify potential fabrication, installation, or tolerance issues early
  • Support scheduling, fabrication planning, and installation coordination
  • Assist with RAMS and project documentation
  • Monitor project progress and escalate risks or delays

Commercial & Planning

  • Support project quotations and costings
  • Liaise with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and materials
  • Coordinate purchasing and material flow
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Track timelines, milestones, and dependencies
  • Support process improvements and operational efficiencies

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate project records
  • Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and timelines

Health & Safety

  • Support compliance with Irish health and safety legislation (including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and relevant Construction Regulations)
  • Promote safe working practices and escalate risks where required

Requirements

Essential

  • Background in fabrication, construction, engineering, utilities, manufacturing, or similar
  • Experience coordinating projects, teams, or operations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Good IT and administrative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Experience using SolidWorks

Desirable

  • Experience in lifting solutions, steelwork, or contracting environments
  • Experience working with subcontractors or suppliers
  • Exposure to quotations, purchasing, or budgeting
  • Familiarity with RAMS and project documentation
