SAP Integration Suite (CPI) Consultant
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP Integration Suite (CPI) Consultant based in Ireland.
This role is focused on delivering robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions that enable seamless connectivity across complex enterprise ecosystems. You will play a key part in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, designing and implementing integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite. The position involves close collaboration with solution architects, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to ensure integration strategies align with enterprise architecture and clean-core principles. You will work across cloud and hybrid environments, contributing to both design and hands-on development of integration flows. This is a highly technical and impactful role where your work directly supports critical business processes and digital transformation initiatives. Accountabilities:
- Design end-to-end integration architectures using SAP Integration Suite, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and clean-core principles.
- Develop, configure, and maintain integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) across complex enterprise landscapes.
- Implement integration solutions involving API Management, Open Connectors, Event Mesh, and related SAP BTP services.
- Build and support integrations between SAP systems (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur) and external platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, and legacy systems.
- Develop mappings, transformations, routing logic, and error-handling mechanisms to ensure reliable data exchange.
- Configure secure integrations using authentication protocols such as OAuth, SAML, certificates, and secure communication standards.
- Support testing cycles, deployment activities, transport management, and production hypercare support.
- Monitor interfaces, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure optimal integration performance.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in SAP technical consulting with strong focus on integration solutions in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP Integration Suite (CPI), including iFlows, API Management, OData, REST, SOAP, IDocs, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and cloud/hybrid integration patterns.
- Proven experience integrating SAP with non-SAP systems and third-party enterprise applications.
- Solid knowledge of integration security, authentication mechanisms, and data protection practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in complex distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced transformation or enterprise implementation projects.
