What you will be doing:
- Implement our Quality Strategy across the business.
- Establish and promote best practices in quality matters in conjunction with the Quality function.
- Ensure that all personnel are aware of their statutory duties and responsibilities, and to provide advice as and when required.
- Support site management teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the Quality Plans.
- Carry out regular inspections/audits of sites and workplaces to find whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures and other stated requirements.
- Assist with delivering Quality training/toolbox talks across the business.
- Promote the reporting of nonconformances and provide advice on closing out actions.
- Collate and review Business / Contract Quality statistics in a timely manner and submit to the Quality Management and Quality function for reporting purposes.
- Review Quality statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Represent Murphy at meetings or interviews regarding construction quality
- Develop and implement Quality campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with Quality Management.
- Provide support to Project teams in the development of Quality Plans.
- Produce Quality plans, procedures and associated documentation and check compliance.

- The ability to inspire, influence and engage with our operational teams.
- Relationships will be key in this role, and you will therefore be capable of building relationships with the senior management team and project teams.

Experience
- Experience within a Quality role or a similar role.
- Preferably be a member of Chartered Quality Institute (CQI)
- Proficient in Microsoft software packages, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project.
- Solid understanding of the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.
- Previous experience within an Engineering or Construction environment
- Full Driving Licence
