Purpose of role
The purpose of this post is to work with the Quality and Patient Safety team, General Manager and Director of Quality and Patient Safety on all relevant activities in the delivery of QPS operations within Children's Health Ireland. This will include day to day service delivery within the QPS directorate, as well as management of special projects related to internal and external reviews and enquiries, and integration with the HSE.

Essential Criteria
- A third level qualification (minimum Level 8 on QQI framework) in healthcare, quality, patient safety or related field
- A minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience in a healthcare setting
- Good working knowledge of incident and risk management processes, audit, standards and quality improvement within the Irish healthcare setting
- Excellent ICT skills
