Principal Technical Program Manager
The successful candidate will be well organized and data-driven, showing strong initiative and ability to lead in fast-paced and constantly changing environments. This role will be part of the Product & Industries team and own the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of IaaS and PaaS deployment models and services on OCI specifically focused on sovereignty.
About the role:
In this Principal Technical Program Management role, you will be working across a multi-functional team that understands our business and its objectives, to lead us through planning and designing technical solutions to solve the cloud sovereignty business's problems in a very agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
The position relies heavily on influence rather than authority to drive projects.
You will define project scopes, plan, and direct schedules while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
You will monitor the project from initiation through delivery and organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. You will assign and monitor the work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. You will collaborate closely with our partners in program and product management to understand our customers and build the right solutions and products that make their needs and businesses complete.
You should possess exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and notable experience collaborating in hybrid teams. You are a self-starter technical leader with a shown ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new projects. You have strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building. You should be customer-focused with a passion for the cloud. You will partner closely with peers, developers, and customers to create solutions, while simultaneously evolving existing capabilities.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
4+ years' experience in cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields
3+ years' experience in software program management and/or engineering management.
Knowledgeable of sovereign regulatory practices and trends in the European Union.

Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
Outstanding proactive communication skills: written, verbal, presentations.
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and influence product/engineering service owners
Self-driven, analytical, and results oriented with proven sound judgment.
Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills
Technical understanding of enterprise level cloud technologies or a background that enables you to understand cloud infrastructure.
Hands on experience problem solving with development teams.
Experience working cross-functionally with cloud computing engineering, sales and marketing teams or related technical fields.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle/ PMI or SCRUM Master Certification; experience with Agile methodologies, and working knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence)
