Role Summary

We are looking for an ambitious person to support the smooth delivery of day-to-day commercial activity, including pricing updates, promotional administration and new product listings. This is a cross-functional role requiring regular collaboration with internal departments and external customers, while providing broad exposure to commercial processes and helping to ensure excellent execution across the customer base.
Role Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinating and submitting financial costs for product promotions and new listings accurately and on time, ensuring alignment with agreed promotional mechanics, customer requirements and internal approvals.
  • Maintaining regular contact with customers to support the timely completion of new line forms, promotional submissions and other day-to-day commercial activity.
  • Updating Movex accurately and promptly with agreed customer promotions, helping to ensure smooth execution and clear commercial visibility across the business.
  • Preparing and submitting cost changes, including customer communications, in line with agreed decisions and business timelines.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date cost information in Movex, ensuring changes are reflected promptly and communicated effectively where required.
  • Responding to day-to-day queries from trade buyers, assistants and supply chain contacts, providing timely and professional support on commercial matters.
  • Working closely with other Boyne Valley departments to resolve queries and support delivery of customer requirements, including Customer Service, Finance, Marketing, Purchasing, Logistics and Field Sales.
  • Providing holiday and other leave cover across the Commercial Support team to help maintain continuity and service standards.
  • Supporting additional administrative and commercial tasks as required.

  • Strong numerical skills, commercial awareness and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and deadlines effectively.
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident in building effective relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, take ownership of tasks, and identify opportunities for administrative or process improvements that support the ongoing development of the role.
  • Excellent IT skills, with a strong working knowledge of Excel and an ability to work confidently across commercial systems and processes.
  • Previous experience in a similar commercial support or customer-facing role would be an advantage.
