What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?
  • 5 years' experience working in financial services, with at least 1 year in an Enterprise Risk role
  • Third level qualification in finance, accounting or related field
  • Proficiency in use of MS Excel, PowerPoint and associated tools an advantage
  • Experience in use of Data Analytics and GRC tools an advantage
  • Understanding of governance, risk management and control issues facing the Funds industry an advantage
  • Highly motivated with strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Fantastic opportunity for an Enterprise Risk Manager to join a dynamic team in Carne Group - the premier provider of fund management solutions to asset managers globally.

What is your role and your responsibilities?
  • Identify and assess risks as part of the Group's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework
  • Work with the Group ERM team to maintain local entity risk registers and risk appetite statements
  • Identify and assess emerging risks across the Group
  • Engage with management to identify and record controls and mitigating strategies for Group and entity-level risks
  • Work with management and the Global Head of ERM to develop action plans to address control gaps
  • Track action plans and control enhancements for timely resolution
  • Review and assess incidents and perform root cause analysis
  • Contribute to the design, implementation and monitoring of Group policies, risk tolerances, and key risk indicators
  • Engage with local entity management to develop effective working relationships
  • Promote risk awareness, ownership and accountability throughout the Group
  • Adapt to and work with the Group's GRC tool for risk and incident management
  • Develop clear and meaningful MI, dashboards, reporting, and trend analysis for senior management, internal committees/forums and entity boards
  • Manage and enhance intragroup due diligence processes
  • Work with the Group ERM team on further enhancements to risk infrastructure and risk culture
  • Provide updates and insights to the Global Head of ERM on activities throughout the group
  • Maintain a solid understanding of emerging regulatory risks and industry trends
  • Contribute to ERM function initiatives related to governance, projects and other business areas as required.
