This role blends high-level financial strategy with hands-on operational management, team coordination, and day-to-day administrative oversight, requiring a "player-coach" mindset.

In this full-time position, this role focuses heavily on strategic leadership, cross-functional scaling, and executive oversight. You will directly lead a dedicated back-office team of specialists, covering finance (AR, AP, Month End, Payroll, Finance Scalability), HR (including recruitment and onboarding), Business Operations (including RevOps and CRM management), and be responsible for stakeholder management and corporate level responsibilities.

For the right candidate this role will evolve and scale to CFO/COO as the company grows.

Reporting to the CEO, this role is based in our Dublin city centre office and follows a hybrid working model, with attendance in the office three days per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: A key member of the senior management team, Develop and execute operational and financial strategies across Bizimply to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Financial Management: Execute "in-the-weeds" financial tasks, including detailed cost reviews, projection modeling, and active management of share transfers and regulatory compliance metrics.
  • Operational Oversight & Process Scaling: Lead day-to-day team operations, performance management, and project coordination. Drive internal process optimization by leveraging AI and modern technologies to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and scale operations across the company.
  • Legal and Compliance: Oversee legal matters, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
  • Human Resources: Lead hands-on HR administration, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and ad-hoc culture support.
  • Risk Management: Perform risk analysis and manage vendor relationships with the team.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  3. Technical Expertise: The ability to demonstrate depth of knowledge and skill in the area of finance and operations.
  4. Establishing Focus: The ability to develop and communicate goals in support of the business' mission. Ensures that people in the unit understand how their work relates to the business' mission. Ensures that everyone understands and identifies with the unit's mission.
  5. Personal Credibility: Demonstrated concern that one be perceived as responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.


  • Qualifications: ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, ideally with 5+ years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
  • Leadership Experience: Experience of managing direct reports and establishing focus across multi-disciplinary teams (Finance, Ops, HR).
  • SaaS Industry Acumen: Familiarity with subscription-based financial metrics, corporate scaling, and investor reporting, is a distinct advantage.
