Job Description Staff Grade Dietitian Location: Network 6 - East Galway City / Central Galway Hours: 35 hours per week Contract: 3-Month Initial Contract TTM Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Staff Grade Dietitian to join the Primary Care Team supporting both Paediatric and Adult Community Services across East Galway City and Central Galway. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary primary care setting, delivering high-quality nutritional assessment, intervention, and education to a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to support individuals in achieving optimal nutritional health and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nutritional assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and monitoring for paediatric and adult service users. Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Manage referrals and prioritise caseloads effectively in line with service requirements. Deliver nutrition education and advice to patients, families, carers, schools, and community groups as appropriate. Support patients with a wide range of clinical and community nutrition needs. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) including GPs, Public Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, and Social Workers. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with professional standards and organisational policies. Promote healthy eating and preventative health strategies within the community. Requirements Qualification in Dietetics recognised for practice in Ireland. CORU mandatory Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Full clean driving licence. Access to own transport is essential due to travel requirements across the service area. Garda Vetting is required. Previous experience working in Primary Care, Community Services, Paediatric Services, or Adult Community Care. Experience managing a broad and varied caseload.
