Costcutter Assistant Brand Manager
We are seeking a creative and commercially focused Costcutter Assistant Brand Manager to join our Marketing team in Mallow.
Role Purpose
This role will support the growth and consistency of the Costcutter brand and its sub-brands across in-store, digital, social, print and above-the-line activity.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and delivery of Costcutter brand plans across store, digital, social, print, POS and ATL channels.
Manage day-to-day campaign activity, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard.
Support the creative and strategic direction of Costcutter sub-brands including Market Street Deli, Urban Sips, Freezi Licks and 55th Street.
Work with internal teams, agencies, suppliers and retailers to deliver effective campaign assets and brand activity.
Maintain the Marketing Activity Planner, support retailer communications and assist with campaign budgeting and recharges.
Plan and manage digital and social content, ensuring consistent brand messaging and tone of voice.
Use market insights and campaign performance data to identify opportunities for brand growth.
Represent the Costcutter brand at trade shows, retailer meetings, store visits and brand events as required.
Key Requirements
Level 8 degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline; postgraduate study or digital/brand certifications would be advantageous.
3+ years’ FMCG marketing experience, ideally across brand, digital and communications campaigns.
Experience supporting multi-brand or sub-brand portfolios is desirable.
Strong understanding of the Irish retail and convenience sector.
Experience in social media management, paid social and digital content planning.
Strong commercial awareness, customer focus and ability to interpret data.
Excellent communication, organisation and project management skills.
Confident working with agencies, suppliers, retailers and internal stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Full driver’s licence required.
