About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up in the Davy Resilience Team as the Group's Resilience Governance and Reporting Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for Davy's resilience governance arrangements and reporting responsibilities, reporting to the Head of Davy Resilience. You are expected to become an SME in respect of relevant Central Bank requirements and be a central point of contact for any independent reviews in this area (primarily the Central Bank and Internal Audit). You will be working in a specialist resilience team where cross-functional expertise and input is expected and valued.

In the role, the successful candidate will:
  • Manage the secretariat duties of the Davy Resilience Committee.
  • Prepare key resilience risk documentation (incl board submissions).
  • Obtain and apply a strong working knowledge of the regulatory requirements around Operational Resilience and DORA.
  • Oversight of Resilience with new programmes and initiatives.
  • Prepare and conduct resilience training.
  • Regulatory and Davy control-function liaison.

Requirements

About you

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
  • Business related or similar primary/post-grad degree.
  • Recently qualified or currently studying accountancy or similar professional exams.
  • Some experience in a resilience type area such as business continuity, operational resilience, third party risk management and/or disaster recovery.
  • Regulatory experience, ideally financial services regulation in Ireland, the EU or the UK.
  • Very good command of the English language with strong written and communication skills.
