Job Title: Public Areas Attendant

Reports To: Manager on Duty

As a Public Areas Attendant, you will take pride in keeping high-traffic areas clean, fresh, and well presented throughout the morning. Your work will ensure that our guests experience a safe, tidy, and comfortable environment from the moment they arrive.

This position involves morning shifts from 7:00am to 12:00pm, five days per week, with weekend availability required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Carry out thorough cleaning of all public bathrooms, ensuring they are hygienic, well-stocked, and presented to a high standard at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of hallways, corridors, entrances, and communal areas, paying close attention to detail
  • Clean and prepare bar and lounge areas ahead of service, including floors, furniture, and high-touch surfaces
  • Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, towels, and sanitiser throughout the shift
  • Empty bins regularly and dispose of waste correctly in line with cleanliness and recycling procedures
  • Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the relevant department
  • Support deep-cleaning tasks during quieter periods, including spot cleaning, polishing, and detail work
  • Assist with ad hoc duties as required, supporting the housekeeping or duty management team
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Work efficiently and independently while contributing positively to the wider team environment


Candidate Requirements:
  • A reliable and punctual individual who enjoys early morning work
  • High attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean spaces
  • Ability to work independently while also supporting the wider team
  • A positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • Previous cleaning or hospitality experience is an advantage, but not essential
