Executive Assistant to the Chief Operations Officer
Purpose of the Role:
The Grade V Executive Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support and contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the Chief Operations Officer.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with discretion and professionalism.
The post holder will support diary management, meeting logistics, documentation, and correspondence, ensuring the Chief Operations Officer schedule runs smoothly.
Essential Criteria:
• A minimum of 3 years' administrative experience in a busy office environment.
• A minimum of 1 years' current experience in a healthcare, public sector, or similar regulated environment, working in a senior administration role.
OR
• A minimum of 1 years' current experience in a PA/EA role supporting an Executive/Board member.
Desirable Criteria:
• Hold a comparable and relevant third level qualification of at least level 6 on the National Qualifications Framework maintained by Qualifications and Quality Ireland, (QQI) in administration, business, or related field.
• Knowledge of administrative processes within the Irish health service (e.g., HSE, Department of Health).
• Experience supporting senior leaders or executives.
