We are recruiting Support Workers to join a small, specialist children's residential service providing structured, trauma-informed care. You'll help create a safe, nurturing environment where children can build trust, develop skills, and experience meaningful daily life.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide daily support tailored to each child's needs.
• Build warm, stable relationships that promote safety and growth.
• Support routines (meals, personal care, recreation, school, community).
• Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies.
• Record notes, incidents, and observations in line with HIQA/TUSLA standards.
• Contribute to teamwork, reflective practice, and supervision.
Requirements
• Recognised qualification in Social Care, Childcare, Psychology, Counselling, Nursing, Youth Work, or equivalent (minimum Level 5-7 depending on discipline).
• Patience, consistency, emotional resilience, and belief in children's potential.
Desirable: Full driving licence, experience supporting children with high support needs.
