New Residential Service - Support Workers Required
What the role looks like day to day:
• Getting to know the person you support - their preferences, routines and what matters most to them
• Supporting daily life - meals, personal care, recreation, community activities
• Building a steady, trusted relationship through consistency and genuine presence
• Noticing what's working well and what isn't, and feeding that back so support keeps improving
• Keeping clear, accurate notes and incident records
• Taking part in team handovers, reflective practice and regular supervision
What you'll need:
• QQI Level 5 Major Award (minimum) - Social Care, Childcare, Healthcare Support, Psychology or related field
• Patience, consistency and a genuine belief in what's possible for the person you support
• A person centered approach - you listen first, and treat the person as an expert in their own life
Nice to have: Full driving licence, experience supporting someone with high support needs.

New Residential Service - Support Workers Required
- A new residential service for 1-2 people is opening soon, and we're hiring the founding team now. You'll help us find out what's important to the person you're supporting (their choices, relationships, what a good day looks like for them) and what's important for them (their health, safety, and support needs),and build the home's routines around that from the very first day.
- The service is regulated under HIQA or TUSLA depending on who moves in. With 1-2 people in the home, you'll have the time to really listen, notice what's working well and keep adjusting support to fit. That's the kind of job this is.
