What is the role? The Logistics Administrator provides administrative and coordination support to the logistics function, assisting the Logistics Manager and Logistics Lead in the effective execution of logistics processes and supporting the efficient movement of goods through coordination and compliance activities. The role focuses on freight coordination support, customs compliance activities, data management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working cross-functionally and with external logistics partners, the role supports import/export activities, including customs documentation, HS code classification and certificates of origin, while also providing support across the wider logistics team on operational and project-related activities. The position contributes to logistics reporting, audit readiness and process improvement initiatives, supporting the ongoing development of logistics operations and compliance processes.

What are the key responsibilities? • Arrange freight bookings with approved logistics providers and maintain shipment schedules.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and complete required system transactions in line with company processes.
• Liaise with Customer Service, Production, Planning and Quality teams to align shipment requirements.
• Prepare and review shipping and export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.
• Support import/export processes, including customs documentation and clearance activities.
• Assist in maintaining HS (commodity) codes and product classifications in line with regulatory requirements.
• Support compliance with UCC, customs regulations and international trade requirements, liaising with brokers and logistics partners as required.
• Assist with preparation of certificates of origin and related documentation.
• Maintain logistics and compliance data within company systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
• Support document control and contribute to audit readiness for logistics and trade compliance activities.
• Support the preparation of logistics reports and performance metrics, including OTIF, and provide data for operational review.
• Assist in identifying and resolving issues relating to shipments, documentation or customs clearance.
• Support enhancements to logistics processes, documentation and reporting practices.
• Maintain a working understanding of warehouse and shipping operations to support effective coordination with operational teams.
• Undertake additional duties assigned in line with the scope of the role.

What education and experience are required? • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 2-4 years' relevant experience in logistics, supply chain administration or a similar role.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution or regulated environment is desirable.
• Experience supporting shipping documentation, customs processes or trade compliance activities is advantageous.
• Familiarity with HS code classification, customs procedures and international trade requirements is desirable.
• Experience working with company systems (e.g. ERP) to manage logistics or administrative processes.
