Assistant Manager / Senior - Deal Advisory - Valuations and Financial Modelling
Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunities available to join the Valuation and Financial Modelling team within our Deal Advisory department.
The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of commercial awareness and attention to detail. This role provides strong candidates with the opportunity to become a key part of a rapidly growing area of the business, and offers highly attractive career development and progression opportunities.
The day-to-day role will comprise of the following activities:
preparation and completion of accurate financial models and sophisticated valuation analyses to support corporates and other clients;
writing valuation reports and presentations;
valuation related research;
audit support and tax valuations;
transaction modelling (including valuations and option appraisals);
financial forecasting and scenario modelling;
developing data models to support modelling and analytics deliverables;
using analytical and visualisation software such as Copilot, Tableau, Power BI etc;
liaising with clients, private equity firms, financial institutions and solicitors; and
client interaction, preparation of deliverables and engagement on multiple projects across different geographies;
preparation of marketing and thought leadership materials
The successful candidate will be and possess:
analytical aptitude and possessing a high calibre foundation understanding of financial statements and various methodologies (such as DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis, etc.);
proficiency at financial modelling with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to write concise and perceptive written reports;
strong communication skills and experience interacting with teammates and clients;
strong academic profile, accountancy qualification, ACA, ACCA, CFA etc are advantageous but not required.
