Job Summary:
Our Procurement Officers play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of procurement activities across a diverse range of projects, programmes, and frameworks. Working as part of a collaborative and high-performing team, they contribute to the end-to-end procurement process, helping to ensure value for money, robust supply chain performance, and full compliance with organisational governance.
This exciting role, based on a Multi-million Euro infrastructure project, offers the opportunity to be actively involved in project delivery, building strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers while contributing to the continuous improvement of procurement practices.

Expected duties:
Material & Subcontractor Procurement
- Prepare and issue tender enquiries to the supply chain.
- Complete tender comparisons for review by the Procurement Manager, Commercial & Operations teams.
- Manage and process material order requisitions.
- Raise purchase and subcontract order numbers.
- Attend subcontractor pre-negotiation meetings.
- Manage the supply chain on-boarding SEQ approval process.
- Attend and minute weekly project procurement meetings.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with the commercial and operations teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and the Client.

Person Specification
Essential:
- Solid experience in procurement or supply chain roles within construction or infrastructure.
- Understanding of construction procurement processes and subcontract management.
- Experience supporting tender processes and procurement activities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Desirable
- Working towards or holding a professional procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS or equivalent)
