Job Description
The HR Business Partner for the Infrastructure team in Irelandisa strategic partner tothe leadershipteam, driving initiativesaligned to theEurope and CountryHR strategiesas well as the localbusinesseslong-term businessobjectives.
The HR Business Partnerwill be a key advisor in building organizational capability, developing future leaders, and ensuring the company's HR practices support sustainable growth across the Infrastructure sector.
This role requires an individual whois able toassurecompliance with employment law, while creating a positive andhighperformance-driven culture.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-pacedand complexenvironment, can navigate complex employment challenges, and be the trusted adviser to the leadership team.
Responsibilities:
Act as trusted partnerof thesenior leadershipteamtounderstand businessobjectives, growth plans,anticipateworkforce needs andidentifycritical talent gaps.
Actas the subject matter expert and proactively manage all employee relations issues andHR relatedrisk mitigation.
Work closely withthe leadershipteamand implementsuccession strategiesfor key roles that alignwith long-term growth plans.
Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational development, change management, and leadership alignment.
Drive leadership development initiatives to strengthen the pipeline of future leaders.
Drive management development initiatives to strengthen the calibre of managers within the business.
Be proficient in the use of HR Management Information and enable the business to use HRMI to make informed, data-led decisions on key investment and development opportunities and drive performance outcomes.
Work with Talent Acquisition to launch and support Early Career programmes such as apprenticeships, Summer Placements and Graduate schemes.
Work with Global Mobility and local team to ensure the visa/sponsorship process is seamlessly managed for employees and clients.
Adapt the EuropeHR strategyto local country needs, legal requirements, goals;implement itand track key performance indicators which align with organization goals and initiatives.
Implement a culture of continuous improvement, resulting inidentification ofopportunities for process improvement and efficiency in coordination withEurope HR.
Attend management meetingstorepresentthe HR function, presenting HR-related data, engaging in discussions, and understanding strategic implications of HR policiesand practices.Present required informationfor your requests and proposals,allowing the Leadership team to make informed decisions.
Driveglobalinitiatives for performance management,salary and promotions review and others.
Ensure 100% data accuracy for allHR-systems.
Promote successful andtimelyimplementation of the new HRIS.
Remain up to date on wider industry and HR best practice ensuring that Turner and Townsend are able to attract and retain the best talent.
Support the annual Infrastructure conference, ensuring HR related information is prepared and shared with wider business.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree inHumanResourcesManagement, Business Management, or similar.
5+ years of experience ina Business Partner rolewithincreasing responsibility in acomplex andglobal environment.
Leadership abilitiesand people management experience.
Solidknowledge of local labor regulationsin Ireland.
Hands-on experience with payrollpreparation and collaboration with external suppliers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability tosummarize and present complexHRtopicsandissues concisely and clearly, both verbally and visually, tailored to the target audience.
Ability to manage andinfluence ina cross-functional matrix environment.
Assertiveness but also willingness to compromise.
Strong negotiation skills.
Solidproject management skills to drive initiatives and processes.
Discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitivebusiness and people relatedinformationexhibitedat all times.
