Job Description TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Head of Residential & Respite Manager on behalf of a Section 39 Disability Service based in Longford. This is a full time permanent contract. Salary: Range - 82251 to 99204 The Head of Residential and Respite Services will be responsible for the following: Leadership & Strategy: Provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for residential and respite services in line with the services vision and national standards. Governance & Compliance: Ensures regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and adherence to safeguarding and HIQA standards. Service Delivery: Oversees the provision of person-centred, high-quality, and efficient care to both adults and children across multiple centres. Staff Management: Leads and develops a multidisciplinary team, managing performance, staffing levels, rostering, and HR processes in collaboration with the HR. Policy & Planning: Develops, reviews, and implements policies and strategic plans to drive service improvement and innovation. Financial Oversight: Works with the Finance Department to manage budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure value for money. Stakeholder Engagement: Builds strong relationships with service users, families, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders, promoting collaboration and communication. Requirements: A Level 8 Degree in Nursing (RNID, RPN, or RGN with relevant disability services experience) is preferred, however we will also consider candidates with an equivalent Level 8 or higher qualification in Health or Social Care. An appropriate management qualification in health or social care (minimum QQI Level 6). Minimum of 5 years' management experience in a similar setting. Demonstrated clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to fulfil the role. Extensive experience within social care / disability services, including supporting individuals with complex needs. Proven leadership capability with experience managing teams and driving service delivery. Experience in financial and budget management. Evidence of successfully delivering service improvement or change programmes. We will consider a nurse from a Nursing Home background and also a Social cAre Manager.
