Job Description QC Technician - Food & Beverage Manufacturing Ireland, Co. Kildare 42,000 + Bonus + Benefits Full-Time | Permanent This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business supplying products across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The company continues to experience significant growth and is investing further in site expansion and new production capabilities. The Role The successful candidate will support laboratory quality operations through routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards. This is a hands-on laboratory role suited to candidates with previous manufacturing QC experience within food, beverage, pharma, or related industries. Key Responsibilities Perform routine QC testing on raw materials, production samples, and finished products Conduct standard wet chemistry and bench testing including pH, Brix, turbidity, and related analyses Prepare standards, reagents, and samples for testing Support calibration, cleaning, and maintenance of laboratory equipment Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation Review and manage Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) Support GMP, GLP, HACCP, CCP, and OPRP compliance requirements Manage retained samples and laboratory inventory Work closely with Production and Quality teams to support manufacturing operations Maintain high standards of housekeeping and laboratory organisation Requirements Degree qualification in Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or related discipline Minimum 2 years' experience in a QC laboratory or manufacturing environment Strong wet chemistry / bench testing experience Experience working within GMP or regulated manufacturing environments Good understanding of quality systems and laboratory documentation Strong communication and organisational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Package Salary: 42,000 Discretionary bonus 23 days annual leave VHI Company Plan Plus Level 1.3 from day one 5% contributory pension from day one Additional Information Please note that this role is fully onsite in Co.
