Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the successful delivery of a high-profile pharmaceutical construction project in Athlone.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a technically demanding project, managing site operations, subcontractors, and stakeholders while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and programme delivery within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day site operations from commencement through to project completion

• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist trades

• Ensure all works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards

• Monitor site progress, productivity, quality control, and project schedules

• Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements

• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Design Teams, and Client Representatives

• Manage and resolve site issues efficiently to minimise disruption and maintain programme targets

• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements

• Support inspections, audits, commissioning activities, and project handover processes

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site-specific pharmaceutical standards and procedures

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in a Site Manager role or similar on large-scale construction projects

• Experience delivering pharmaceutical, life sciences, industrial, cleanroom, or highly regulated projects is highly desirable

• Strong background in construction site management with a proven track record of project delivery

• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing site teams and subcontractors

• Strong understanding of Irish health safety legislation and site compliance requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, technically complex construction environment

• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Experience delivering construction projects in Ireland

• Relevant construction qualifications and Safe Pass essential
