AVEVA PI Engineer (409)

Réalta Technologies are searching for an AVEVA PI Engineer with over 5+ years experience to support a Pharmaceutical client of ours based in Dublin.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee AVEVA PI system implementation and maintenance, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and alignment with project goals.
• Manage the full project lifecycle for PI-related initiatives including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and validation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of PI engineers, supporting their development and ensuring quality delivery of system solutions.
• Develop and maintain data integrations using OPC interfaces, RDBMS connections, Asset Framework (AF), and Event Frames to support manufacturing and business intelligence needs.
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and reports to deliver accurate and timely process information to stakeholders.
• Support qualification and validation activities of PI systems in GMP-regulated environments, ensuring documentation and testing meet compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage ALM testing workflows and ServiceNow deployments, ensuring smooth change management and system reliability.

Job Requirements

• 5 years+ experience working with AVEVA PI.
• Experience with PI qualifications in GMP environment.
• Full project lifecycle experience for PI projects.
• Experienced supporting a team of PI engineers.
• Experience with OPC, RDBMS, Event Frames, AF.
• Experience with SQL and reporting services.
• ALM testing experience a plus.
• Service now deployments a plus.
